Platform Door Expert Job Overview

The role of Deputy Chief Platform Screen Door Expert is a high-level position that requires expertise in overseeing the installation and testing of platform screen doors on metro projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough sub-systems tests and integrate systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Develop and review comprehensive testing and commissioning plans to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Review contractors' installation plans and reports to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Monitor installation activity reports to track progress and identify potential issues.
  • Review contractors' test plans and reports to validate their results.
  • Ensure that all integrated tests are conducted and reported accurately.
Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you must possess a graduate degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.

With a minimum of 20 years of experience, including 7 years in the construction field of PSD metro projects, you should have excellent written and oral English communication skills.

You must also be able to work effectively within a culturally diverse organization, recognize and respect differences, and apply industry best practices to problem-solve.

A self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority is essential for this position.

Technical specifications with proven PSD experience are highly desirable.
