About this role:

We are seeking a skilled Reliability and Scalability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical systems. As an SRE, you will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain highly available services, automate operational tasks, and monitor system health.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for production systems, using best practices in engineering teams.
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks, deployments, and monitoring to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to build reliable and efficient services, incorporating insights from system performance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain tools for system monitoring, alerting, and incident response, leveraging expertise in programming languages such as Python, Go, Bash, or Ruby.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and manage incident response to minimize downtime, advocating for reliability, availability, and performance best practices throughout the engineering teams.
  • Analyze system performance and identify bottlenecks or failure points, developing and implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies accordingly.
  • Document processes, architecture, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring seamless knowledge transfer within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, with expertise in Tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, as well as strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
