Job Description

As a Senior Database Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' PostgreSQL databases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert-level technical support for complex database issues;
  • Designing and implementing database solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience administering PostgreSQL in production environments at scale (v9.6–15+);
  • Deep expertise in Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu) and shell scripting (Bash, Python);
  • Proven track record with Kubernetes and PostgreSQL Operators;
  • Mastery of performance tuning: query plans, WAL tuning, connection pooling (PgBouncer, Pgpool-II);
  • Hands-on experience with Prometheus/Grafana monitoring stacks; and
  • Excellent problem-solving, written/spoken English, and customer-facing skills.
