Job Summary
Getronics is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native Lead to join our Public Cloud team. As a senior technical expert, you will be responsible for owning end-to-end technical responsibilities, ensuring the best architecture and support are provided to our customers. This role will also serve as the technical and people point of contact for customer engagements, supporting the transition phase of existing or new customers.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare the KMAP of the team and create upskill/training plans
Review and update project-specific documentation
Plan and guide the team in managing day-to-day activities
Assist in technology decision-making and propose the best solution to the client during deal solution conversations
Define and lead overall software development and strategies, ensuring software fully meets business, technical, and operational requirements
Provide technical oversight while writing new software, making modifications to existing software, or integrating software applications and modules in accordance with agreed-upon specifications
Explore design options and lead the creation of design, ensuring business and technical requirements are met
Act as a point of contact or subject matter expert for Training Systems related technical capabilities
Assist in the identification and implementation of short-term and long-term solution options, including risk assessments, and recommendations to business and technology leadership
Coordinate and support related groups, such as internal/customer Product Managers, Content teams, quality assurance teams, support teams, or operations/deployment teams
Provide technical guidance in the area of subject matter expertise, possessing in-depth knowledge of cloud-native application development
Ensure self and team develop software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to team/company standards and software best practice guidelines, and corporate policies
Cloud Technologies: Provide insights into different cloud services like serverless computing, containerization, virtualization, and storage when needed by the team of Cloud Native Specialists
Containerization Technologies: Provide insights on containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, including knowledge of container orchestration and management, container networking, and security
DevOps: Maintain the DevOps culture and share understanding of the principles of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to the team
Ensure the team is proficient in source control management, build automation, and release management
Programming Languages: Use programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and others, along with knowledge of different frameworks and libraries, to assist team members in need of help with live engagements
Microservices Architecture: Bring knowledge of microservices architecture, including API design, service discovery, and load balancing, to customer engagements
Automation: Assist team members in automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef where needed
Research and identify standards and best practices as appropriate
Provide the team technical direction(s)/approach(es) to be undertaken and guide them in the resolution of queries/issues
Attend/drive various architectural, design, and status calls with multiple stakeholders
Ensure end-to-end ownership of all tasks is aligned
Test implementation, troubleshooting, and correct problems
Capable of working as an individual contributor and within a team too
Conduct technical training(s)/session(s), write whitepapers/case studies/blogs, etc
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
More than 10+ years of experience, which can include IT Applications, Cloud, and Data areas
Minimum of 3 years experience managing a team containing a mix of traditional development and Cloud Native development skills
Strong analytic skills related to working with large pieces of code
A successful history of building, delivering applications, and managing teams that contribute to delivering applications using cloud-native technologies
Agile/Scrum methodology experience is required
Experience in Web architecture, Git and GitHub, HTTP and REST, and JavaScript packages
Knowledge of database systems and SQ, database technologies, and frameworks (JSON, Angular, and React)
Experience in Containerization, DevOps, Microservices Architecture, and Automation
Good working knowledge of Requirement gathering and analysis
Hands-on experience with any of the Cloud (AWS/Azure)
Passionate about exploring new technologies
Good Communication Skills
Knowledgeable in tools such as Microsoft Agile, JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow is preferred
Microservices & Cloud Native Architecture exposure is a plus
Experience or Knowledge of cloud migration projects that involved Cloud Native technology usage as per Gartner 6Rs
Expertise in preparing Proposal/SOW will be good to have
Certifications: Agile certifications (SAFE/PMI)
ITIL methodologies will be good to have
Educational Qualification: Bachelor/Masters Degree from a reputed institute
