Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of transactions across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL). This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our financial records and supporting both internal and external financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the day-to-day operations for the AP, AR, and GL functions.

- Oversee the preparation and posting of all journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications.

- Conduct detailed and complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Month-End & Financial Reporting:

- Manage and support the full month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all sub-ledgers are reconciled to the GL.

- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports in accordance with established accounting standards and regulations.

Compliance & Controls:

- Ensure strict compliance with internal accounting standards and policies, including IFRS and/or US GAAP.

- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

Required Skills:

- 6-8 years of overall experience in Accounting and Finance.

- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting.

Technical Proficiency:

- Strong hands-on expertise in the end-to-end financial processes, including AP, AR, GL, and reconciliations.

- Experience with non-Indian processes, such as those in the Middle East, or other international regions.

- Deep understanding of accounting principles and standards, specifically IFRS or US GAAP.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to identify and resolve complex reconciliation issues and financial discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
