Network Operations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure systems.

Key responsibilities include configuring and administering Cisco routing and switching equipment, managing F5 load balancers to ensure application availability and performance, and administering Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP address management systems.

Additionally, you will troubleshoot complex network issues and implement appropriate solutions, perform regular network maintenance and planned upgrades, monitor network performance and conduct capacity planning, document network architecture, configurations, and procedures, and implement network security measures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree with 1-3 years of experience in Network Operations or Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of experience in Network Operations or Diploma with 7-9 years of experience in Network Operations.
  • Previous or current CCNP certification required, along with proven experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies, hands-on experience configuring and maintaining F5 load balancers, and proficiency with Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, etc.), experience with network security concepts and implementation, and knowledge of automation tools and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

  • CCIE certification, experience with SD-WAN solutions, knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), and experience with network monitoring tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices, experience with DevOps, S/W development and scripting, and experience with Software-Defined Networking (SD-WAN).

Professional Certifications:

  • CCNP certification (previous or current) mandatory, CCIE certification preferred, and F5 Certified Administrator and Infoblox certification preferred.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities, good communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, and team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
