Executive Director of Human Resources

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director of Human Resources to lead our university's HR strategy in alignment with academic and institutional goals.

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive HR strategy that drives organizational success, supports academic excellence, and fosters a positive work culture.
  • Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition strategies for senior faculty, researchers, and administrative leaders, ensuring we attract and retain top talent in the industry.
  • Develop and implement effective HR policies, frameworks, and processes to support employee well-being, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Drive performance management, learning & development, leadership programs, and succession planning initiatives to ensure continuous growth and development of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulatory frameworks, and statutory requirements, providing guidance and support to employees and managers as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders, promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
  • Min. 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience in universities or reputable higher education institutions.
  • Proven track record in strategic HR planning, policy formulation, and institutional HR governance.
  • Strong exposure to managing large and diverse teams across academic, administrative, and technical domains.
  • Demonstrated ability in talent management, payroll process management, and labor law compliance.
  • Experience in HR digitization initiatives (HRMS, ERP, ATS) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills with senior academic and administrative leaders.
