Solid-State Battery Production Expert

Develop and execute strategies for the production of high-quality solid-state batteries.

  • Production Leadership: Manage daily operations, ensure efficient yield, and optimize production processes.
  • Technical Oversight: Monitor and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to electrode coating, cell assembly, and sealing processes.
  • Process Development: Implement enhancements to boost cell performance, lifespan, and overall quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain strict quality control measures, including in-line inspections and final product testing.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and specifications for solid-state batteries.
  • Quality Improvement: Analyze quality data to identify potential issues before they impact product performance.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of production technicians, operators, and engineers responsible for cell assembly.
  • Staff Development: Provide opportunities for staff to learn new technologies and procedures.
  • Culture and Safety: Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of solid-state battery technology, including solid electrolytes, electrode materials, and cell assembly processes.
  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with advanced techniques like roll-to-roll processing, laser cutting, and precision handling equipment.
  • Cell Performance Analysis: Knowledge of testing methods to evaluate cell performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with R&D teams to implement new cell designs and technology advancements into production lines.
  • Project Planning: Manage project timelines and coordination with cross-functional departments for smooth production flow.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, with a focus on cell assembly processes.
  • Proven track record in managing production teams in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends for continuous improvement.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
