Role Summary:

A forward-thinking organization seeks a skilled Finance professional to drive excellence in their GIFT City, India office.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, maintain robust accounting records, and deliver high-quality results.

  • Oversee monthly/quarterly closings, local regulatory reporting, tax filings, and ensure compliance with Indian GAAP and IFRS standards.

  • Drive insights & forecasting by analyzing key financial drivers, providing detailed calculations for business performance, and managing year-end forecasting and closing processes.

  • Monitor cash flows, manage accounts receivable/payable aging, and maintain effective financial controls across investment and cash flow operations.

  • Champion process efficiency by continuously enhancing workflows, supporting planning/projection processes, and ensuring high data quality across end-to-end financial processes.

  • Lead special projects, including IFRS 17 transitions, compiling ad-hoc internal/external reports, and collaborating with accounting and tax consultants.

Requirements:

  • 10-12 years of experience in the insurance industry as a fully qualified accountant.

  • In-depth knowledge of GIFT City's IFSCA requirements, IRDAI framework, and Indian tax regulations.

  • Expertise in Indian GAAP, IFRS, and advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and SAP financial systems.

  • Proven ability to analyze financials, work independently, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Professional, transparent, and proactive communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.

  • Ability to relocate to GIFT City, India, and quickly master proprietary accounting systems.
