Design Engineer - Mechanical

You'll be a key contributor to our engineering team, responsible for the creation of new and innovative mechanical products. To excel in this role, you should have hands-on experience with CAD software and a strong attention to detail.

As a Design Engineer - Mechanical, your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production, ensuring that all engineering specifications and requirements are met.

This role involves extensive use of CAD software and engineering analysis tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components based on engineering principles.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and design optimization opportunities.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the design process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD).
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of PDM will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
