Senior Equity Research Professional

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Equity Research Professional to support our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research, excellent financial modeling skills, and the ability to think critically and strategically.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and update complex financial models with scenario analysis
  • Carry out DCF, relative, SOTP, and other relevant valuation methods
  • Create accurate assumptions and valuation with rationale
  • Analyze large datasets to identify investment ideas and provide recommendations to portfolio managers/CIOs
  • Discuss investment ideas and stock updates with portfolio managers/CIOs
  • Prepare earnings reviews, previews, attend conference calls, and management meetings
  • Develop pitch notes/presentations, industry, and thematic reports
  • Maintain databases
  • Collect and analyze news
  • Handle ad hoc research requests
Requirements
  • Strong financial modeling and research report-writing/presentation-making skills
  • Ability to think through drivers and KPIs across broad ranges of sectors
  • Excellent client relationship management skills and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple workflows with tight deadlines
  • Numerical abilities
  • Building complex, error-free models with well-defined revenue/cost driver assumptions
  • Carrying out earnings sensitivity analysis
  • Providing own valuation views after carrying out relative, DCF-based, or industry-appropriate valuations
  • Writing skills
  • Writing in a logical and structured manner that requires minimal rework
  • Writing bulletins and one-page summaries
  • Linking macro/industry analysis to the output
  • Building effective presentations

  • Collecting news; summarizing and providing analysis that adds value; and preparing charts, tables, and databases
