Utility Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Utilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of utility systems. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted plant operations while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Your primary focus will be on monitoring utility equipment performance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and ensuring timely resolution. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will lead and guide a team of technicians/operators in utility operations and maintenance, drive cost optimization initiatives, and prepare reports on equipment performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities.

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems, including cooling towers, compressors, pump houses, ETP & STP etc.
  • Ensure uninterrupted plant operations by maintaining adequate spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
  • Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor utility equipment performance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to meet plant requirements.
  • Prepare reports on equipment performance, energy consumption, and maintenance activities.
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead and guide a team of technicians/operators in utility operations and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of utility energy optimization and cost-saving practices.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
