Our company is seeking a highly skilled Treasury & Financial Accountant to join our team.

We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial accounting, particularly with UK GAAP FRS 102 and tax knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing statutory accounts, draft corporation tax computations, and VAT returns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation of annual statutory financial statements, including all notes and required disclosures, using Iris Accounts Production. They will also be responsible for producing quarterly VAT returns for all relevant companies within the VAT Group with a full reconciled VAT position.

In addition, the candidate will assist with the management of external audit process, including liaising with external auditors on a regular basis. They will also provide technical accounting support on new accounting standards and complex areas of accounting.

The Treasury & Financial Accountant will maintain bank signatories, accounts, credit cards, and responsible for opening and closing bank accounts as required. They will also identify any errors within proposed payment runs and critically review for accuracy.

The role requires a strong technical accountant with extensive experience in financial accounting, including UK GAAP FRS 102 and tax knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a degree in an associated discipline and/or certification(s), preferably with a background in ACCA (or equivalent). They must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements using Iris Accounts Production
