Job Overview:

The role of a Senior Process Engineer is pivotal in delivering high-quality services to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Process industries.

Key responsibilities include developing sophisticated dynamic simulation process models and intelligent applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.

Responsibilities and Skills:

  • Develop highly complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications utilizing Simulation and Optimization tools.
  • Analyze project requirements and translate them into specifications and project deliverables.
  • Deliver projects on time with exceptional quality.
  • Design and configure dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Process.
  • Run simulations for various scenarios with built models.
  • Conduct dynamic process and control studies.
  • Perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies.
  • Collaborate in the development of functional and concept technical design specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering - Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations/process controls/process engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with one of the skill sets: Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First-Principles modeling.
  • Proficient in modeling tools: Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, etc.
  • Skilled in Real-Time Optimization applications like ROMeo.
  • Skilled in APC applications like Rockwell Pavilion, Yokogawa smoc, Honeywell RMPCT, ASPEN DMC plus.
  • Certified in Aspen Plus/Hysys/Pro-II/Dynsim will be an advantage.
  • Able to interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and control logics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Domain knowledge of Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
  • Good communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with DCS and ESD will be advantageous.
  • Able to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong ability to maintain good working relationships with customers.
