System Administrator Role

As a System Administrator at our organization, you will be responsible for solving complex problems and identifying potential future issues across various platforms and services.

You will work with some of our biggest clients, managing systems data, providing day-to-day solutions, and security compliance. You will oversee assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across various platforms and services.
  • Manage systems data for clients and provide day-to-day solutions and security compliance.
  • Oversight of assignments and direct work with technicians to prioritize tickets and deliver best solutions.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Linux Server Administration.
  • Create, modify, and delete network shares.
  • Assign and maintain user access rights as per policies defined and agreed upon with the client.
  • Configure and maintain print servers and print queues.
  • Maintain and administer DNS, DHCP, NFS, NIS, DFS roots, and group policy.
  • Restore server operating system in the event of a crash using backup tools provided by the client or proposed as part of solution.
  • Resolve server problems like system hang, hard disk crash, with OEM support wherever required.
  • Update patches through the client-provided centralized patch management system and manually wherever required.
  • Perform periodic system performance tuning as per client's policy.
  • Manage and adhere to security policy for user-level access defined.
Preferred Experience
  • Automation experience, especially IaaS (infrastructure as a code).
  • Vulnerability management.
  • Microsoft Active Directory and federation services.
