Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Tester to join our team. This role involves testing data engineering, data warehouse testing and other related activities.

  • The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of software test life cycles, test case preparation and execution, and defect life cycles.
  • Knowledge of different testing frameworks, tools and methodologies is also essential.
  • Azure Data Bricks, Pyspark and Azure Data factory experience is a plus.
  • The candidate should have experience testing in medium to large projects and adequate experience in data warehouse and data mart testing.
  • They should be proficient in identification and test data preparation techniques, leading test teams and extensive exposure to back-end/ETL testing with high-level SQL skills.
  • The candidate should also have exposure to large data sets and understand data quality frameworks as well as experience in data analysis including profiling auditing balancing and reconciliation.
  • Defect tracking experience is also required.

Responsibilities:

  • Test data engineering data warehouse and other related activities.
  • Prepare and execute test cases.
  • Identify defects and track them through the defect life cycle.
  • Lead test teams and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of quality assurance experience on enterprise-level applications.
  • Thorough knowledge of software test life cycles test case preparation and execution and defect life cycles.
  • Different testing frameworks tools and methodologies.
  • Azure Data Bricks Pyspark and Azure Data factory experience.
  • Data warehouse and data mart testing experience.
  • High-level SQL skills.
  • Data quality frameworks.
  • Data analysis including profiling auditing balancing and reconciliation.
  • Defect tracking experience.
