Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Divisional Head of Security & Fire Division to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating as the Deputy Divisional Head of Security & Fire Division, advising the Senior Management Team, and ensuring the security of senior management executives and plant security.
The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of access control mechanisms/processes, remote surveillance, control room operations, and material movement. They should also have basic computer skills in MS Excel, Word, and Office for initiating reports.
In addition, they should possess high degree of awareness and alertness on/off duty, be supportive in nature, inquisitive, and have an eye for detail. A very high sense of commitment, dedication to duty, and positive mind-set are essential qualities for this role.
The successful candidate will also be expected to establish an effective IR and Business Intelligence mechanism and develop an intelligence team in support of management expectations. They will monitor security and fire staff activities/interactions to prevent any acts of non-conformity and maintain excellent liaison with police authorities, PCMC, and PMC officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- To coordinate shift operations of security and fire staff
- Monitor access control especially to sensitive zones and check abnormalities
- Ensure fitness of all security and fire equipment, gadgets, vehicles provided for operations. Regularly conduct inventory checks
- Ensure alertness in grasping and responding to emerging IR or other security situations and provide real-time support to management
- Assist SS Head in conducting security staff's annual training and ensure fitness
- Conduct regular audits aimed at continuous improvement and streamline security operations in support of all other plant and business functions
- Conduct investigations and enquiries into abnormal incidents, identify root-cause, suggest and enforce corrective/preventive actions thereon
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Access Control mechanism/process, Remote Surveillance, Control Room Operations & Material Movement
- Understand basic Fire-Safety operations, use of gadgets and Emergency processes
- Basis computer skills in MS Excel, Word, Office for initiating reports
- High degree of awareness and alertness on/off duty
- Supportive in nature, inquisitive and have eye for detail
- Have a very high sense of commitment, dedication to duty and have positive mind-set
- Preferably be Marathi speaking from Maharashtra State
- To be physically and medically fit to take on strenuous activity
- Clear discipline record from previous organization
- NO negative Service/Police Record, Court Cases, other distractions
- Non-alcoholic
- Have maturity to lead current team of security staff
- Specific expertise required for functional area:
- Security Operations, viz :- Industrial Security experience in Theft and Loss Prevention, Access Control, etc.
- If from Private Sector, should have faced External Audits, viz :- IMS, BVC
