Searce Inc is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Manager to lead our Cloud Reliability teams. As a Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for managing teams that provide strong Managed Services support to end-customers. You will work closely with customers to identify and resolve issues in their cloud environment, create knowledge articles and SOPs for use by L1 teams, and implement preventive actions to reduce recurring issues.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Cloud Reliability teams to provide strong Managed Services support to end-customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by CMS clients in their cloud environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing details about the issue, current steps, next plan of action, and ETA.
- Assist clients with using specific cloud services and resolving issues.
- Create SOPs and knowledge articles for use by L1 teams to resolve common issues.
- Analyze recurring issues, propose/preventive actions, and implement changes.
- Plan and deploy OS and security patches in Windows/Linux environments and upgrade k8s clusters.
- Contribute to automation of recurring manual activities.
- Educate team members on development and operations best practices.
- Monitor metrics and develop improvements.
- System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platforms and applications.
- Use open-source technologies and cloud services.
- Establish and maintain configuration standards.
- Implement best-in-class cloud security solutions to ensure critical system security.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
