Cybersecurity Expert

Job Description

This is a critical role that will play a key part in shaping the future of cybersecurity.

  • Design and deliver Next-Generation solutions for our customers by working closely with them to understand their unique needs.
  • Contribute to and occasionally lead engagements centered on advanced technologies at customer sites.

As a trusted advisor, you'll guide customers on best practices methodologies and act as a single point of contact for clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop custom security policies and application signatures tailored to each client's environment.
  2. Consult with customers on various security threats and provide threat analysis reports.
  3. Work proactively with our technical team to troubleshoot and diagnose cases as escalations arise.
  4. Maintain implemented solutions and provide mentorship on code upgrades, changes to the platform, and new technology developments.
  5. Collaborate with sales teams to help formulate a technical strategy to address customer business needs.
  6. Support direct manager in managing business needs through regular reports and Quarterly Business Reviews.

Travel (25-50%) is required for customer meetings and onsite deployments of customer engagements.

Requirements
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is essential.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are mandatory.
  3. Proficiency in document creation is necessary.
  4. Minimum 7 years of experience with firewall and IDS/IPS solutions in large environments is required.
  5. Minimum 5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of Palo Alto Networks products is necessary.
  6. Extensive knowledge of various security threats is mandatory.
  7. Strong understanding of Internet protocols and applications is required.
  8. Demonstrated project leadership skills and the ability to conduct design meetings are essential.
