Senior BIM Project Lead

The role of a Senior BIM Project Lead is multifaceted and demanding, requiring strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Project Coordination:
    • Oversee multiple BIM projects concurrently, ensuring successful execution from inception to completion.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize project delivery.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, adhering to established BIM standards and methodologies.
    • Proactively identify and address project-related challenges and issues, including QA/QC and Clash Co-ordination.
  • Client Liaison:
    • Serve as the principal point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and lasting relationships.
    • Attend client meetings to understand project requirements, provide updates on progress, and address concerns or inquiries.
    • Collaborate with clients to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
  • Business Growth:
    • Participate in business meetings to contribute to the growth and expansion of BIM services.
    • Leverage extensive industry experience to identify new business opportunities, develop proposals, and showcase advanced BIM capabilities.
    • Collaborate with the business development team to win and secure new projects.
  • Budget and Timeline Management:
    • Exercise oversight of project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure financial viability.
    • Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising project quality or client satisfaction.
    • Maintain control over project timelines, taking prompt corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Industry Best Practices:
    • Establish and enforce industry-leading best practices in BIM project management.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM team.
    • Stay abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and methodologies.
