Head of Finance and Accounting

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to lead our accounting operations as Head of Finance and Accounting. The ideal candidate will oversee the closure and audit of accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage financial accounting for the business-to-consumer segment, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to management.
  2. Closely monitor and manage monthly closing processes, guaranteeing accurate financial number reporting to senior leadership.
  3. Plan, execute, and close quarterly statutory audits in a timely manner, proactively addressing potential audit issues and enhancing internal controls.
  4. Prepare balance sheet disclosures on a periodic basis and ensure correct and accurate reporting.
  5. Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting standards and guidelines, with practical experience in applying them to business scenarios.
  6. Maintain close coordination with finance teams for seamless closure and reporting of financials.
  7. Ensure proper segmental reporting and eliminate all group transactions effectively.
  8. Regularly review the monthly closing checklist to guarantee thorough reviews of all balance sheet items.
  9. Supervise a team of professionals, motivating and coaching them through clear roles and constructive feedback.
  10. End-to-end responsibility for the closure of financial statements for the parent company and Indian subsidiaries.
  11. Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations, CARO, and relevant legislations.
  12. Carefully examine all financial reports and data to detect discrepancies.
  13. Guarantee adherence to all accounting policies, guidelines, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

A Chartered Accountant with 7 years of post-qualification experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance is required for this role.
