Job Description

The Finance Director position is responsible for leading the financial management of the organization, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and developing strategic plans to drive growth. This role requires a highly skilled finance professional with experience in establishing robust financial systems, implementing world-class financial software, and ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and contribute to budget planning and forecasting.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of financial management systems and manage ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
  • Manage cash flow and investments, ensuring optimal liquidity and returns while minimizing risk.
  • Represent the organization in financial matters at international forums and conferences as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires a Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with significant experience in finance and accounting roles, including at least 5-7 years in a senior management position. Professional accounting certification is highly desirable. Strong technical skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership and communication skills are also essential.
