  • Migration Planning & Design:">

    • Assess existing infrastructure, applications, and workloads to create migration strategies.">
    • Design end-to-end migration architectures for cloud, hybrid, or on-premises environments.">
    • Define migration scope, timelines, and risk mitigation plans.">

  • Execution & Implementation:">
    • ">
    • Lead the migration of servers, databases, applications, M365, and storage systems.">
    • Use industry-standard tools such as Azure Migrate, AWS Migration Hub, Quest ODM, Cloudamize, ShareGate, and native utilities.">
    • Implement cutover strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.">

  • Technical Leadership:">
    • ">
    • Serve as the SME for migration methodologies, tools, and best practices.">
    • Mentor junior engineers and support technical teams during complex migrations.">
    • Coordinate with architects to align with cloud adoption frameworks and governance policies.">

  • Performance & Optimization:">
    • ">
    • Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance during transitions.">
    • Validate data integrity, application functionality, and system performance post-migration.">
    • Document lessons learned and recommend process improvements.">

  • Collaboration & Communication:">

    • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and share progress updates.">
    • Work with security and compliance teams to meet regulatory standards.">
    • Prepare detailed migration runbooks, test plans, and rollback plans.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in migration-focused roles.">
  • Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, M365, or GCP.">
  • Hands-on experience with:
    - Infrastructure migration (VMware, Hyper-V, physical to cloud)
    - Application migration
    - Data migration (SQL, file systems, SharePoint, Exchange)">
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, scripting, and migration automation.">
  • Strong understanding of networking, identity, and security in migration contexts.">
  • Proven track record with large-scale, enterprise-grade migration projects.">
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.">
