Job Profile

You will be working closely with other Wireless teams and colleagues to develop, validate and optimize Cellular RF systems from initial prototype build to mass production, requiring proactive collaboration with other engineering groups such as antenna design, production test, reliability, software engineering etc.

  • Experience with wireless system integration into consumer products is essential, Cellular RF experience is highly desirable.
  • International and domestic travel may be necessary.

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong understanding of Master Smith Chart & RF matching
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (Call box, Vector network analyzer, Spectrum analyzer, Signal generator, Oscilloscope, etc.)
  • Excellent RF fundamentals including RF component and RF system level knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in wireless communications standards and wireless transceiver system integration
  • Experience working with manufacturing an asset
  • Ability to work well-organized and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Effective communication skills required
  • Cellular system experience preferred
  • Python scripting experience is beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Communications Engineering or similar (Master's preferred)
