Remote Technical Support Engineer

This is a full-time position that allows you to work 100% from home with US office hours. As a Remote Technical Support Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Client Success team to provide Tier-2 client support for software technical issues and assist the Engineering department in debugging and resolving these issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to internal and external users, including customer service teams, clients, and partners.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team.
  • Assist the QA lead with QA activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Speak with internal and external customers to quickly identify the root of their problems.
  • Propose workarounds to customers when fixes will take time to be released.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Support the roll-out of new applications.
  • Provide support through procedural documentation.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Test and evaluate new releases.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
  • Availability to work during US hours (9 am to 6 pm central time).
  • Experience with tech support for web-based business applications with mobile interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS.
  • Proficiency in browser-based debugging, JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Experience with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
