The role of Senior WordPress Developer is key to our success. You'll lead WordPress-based projects from start to finish, developing custom themes and plugins, optimizing performance and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating user-focused experiences through mockups provided
  • Building personalized and customized features for customers
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
  • Developing standard code that can serve as the foundation of future projects
  • Performing tasks accurately and meeting our quality standards
Requirements

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress development
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery
  • Hands-on experience with custom theme & plugin development
  • A solid understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, actions and filters
  • Experience with WooCommerce and payment gateway integrations
  • Knowledge of page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg) while being able to work beyond them
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL and headless WordPress is a plus
  • A strong grasp of website performance optimization and SEO best practices
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
  • The ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
