Job Description of Senior Wordpress Developer

Praella Private Limited is hiring a Senior WordPress Developer , you will be responsible for leading WordPress-based projects from start to finish, including custom theme/plugin development, API integrations, performance optimization, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. You will also mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with designers, project managers, and clients to deliver seamless web solutions.

Objectives of the Role:

  • Create user focused experiences through mockups provided
  • Build personalized and customized features for customers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
  • Develop standard code that can serve as the foundation of future projects
  • Perform tasks accurately and up to our quality standard

About the Role:

  • Lead the end-to-end development of WordPress websites, ensuring responsiveness, performance, and scalability.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to client requirements.
  • Work with ACF, WooCommerce, and other popular WordPress tools and integrations.
  • Collaborate with designers to translate Figma/PSD/Wireframes into functional WordPress websites.
  • Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and best practices in security.
  • Implement REST APIs, third-party integrations, and custom functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices.
  • Maintain code quality through version control (Git), testing, and documentation.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.
