Internal Audit Lead

We are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Lead to join our team. As an Internal Audit Lead, you will be responsible for leading and executing internal audit engagements, ensuring that our clients' internal controls and risk management processes are effective and efficient.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading internal audit engagements to ensure they are conducted in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing internal audit plans to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights needed to inform internal audit findings and recommendations.

To be successful as an Internal Audit Lead, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You should also have a solid understanding of internal audit principles and practices, as well as experience working with audit software and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm or a large corporation.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
