Job Title: Senior Manager - Medical Coding and Compliance

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned medical coding professional to oversee daily operations of the coding unit.

The ideal candidate will have over 17+ years of experience in medical coding, with a proven track record of managing large teams and developing long-range plans for strategic growth.

  • Oversee workload and staffing, hiring, training, and performance appraisals to ensure high-quality work and efficient operations.
  • Develop short-term and long-term goals, objectives, and programs to improve data accessibility and resolve problems.
  • Evaluate innovations and changes in programs, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal results.
  • Design and implement systems and methods to enhance data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Conduct audits and monitor coding compliance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and coordinate educational and training programs to maintain regulatory and industry standards.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 17+ years of experience in Multispecialty Coding with substantial team management experience.
  • Certification from AAPC or AHIMA is required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
