We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing quality processes to ensure our products meet specifications for quality, function, and reliability.
About the Role:
- Design and develop tools and tests that create exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop functional test cases, System & Integration Test cases, and automated scripts used in SDLC, ensuring high-quality products.
- Execute manual and automated test cases, validating functionalities and reporting results according to formal test architectures and project processes.
- Track and report metrics such as velocity, code quality, defect density across all phases, and code review metrics to management.
- Document testing results, including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce defects.
- Provide quality sign-off to project teams and execute assigned testing duties.
- Configure QA performance/load test design and execution to ensure high-performance software under load.
- Incorporate client usage and feedback into test scripts to mimic end-user behavior.
- Diagnose problems and report bugs and enhancements to the development team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field required.
- 3+ years of application testing experience.
- Experience with use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
- Understanding of Relational database models (Relational/ Document based) and GUI tool interaction knowledge (Working knowledge of SQL).
- Agile environment experience.
- Exposure to bug tracking and test case management tools.
- Multi-browser and mobile device system testing experience.
- Good customer empathy and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about building amazing products.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI.
- API testing experience (JSON, REST), using Postman and JMeter.
