Job Description

The Vice President of Training and Development leads the organization's strategic vision for comprehensive and digitally driven training programs. This visionary leader drives digital transformation within the training function to thrive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, and manages a holistic digital learning strategy aligned with the organization's overarching business goals.
  • Champions the adoption and integration of digital learning technologies across the organization.

Program Design:

  • Conducts comprehensive needs assessments to identify current and future digital skill gaps across the workforce.
  • Designs and oversees the development of innovative, scalable digital learning content and programs, including simulations, virtual reality, microlearning, and blended learning models.

Technology Management & Innovation:

  • Evaluates, selects, and manages digital learning platforms and technologies to ensure they meet organizational needs.
  • Stays abreast of emerging trends and best practices in digital learning and workplace technology to drive continuous innovation in the training function.
  • Oversees the creation of a robust digital learning infrastructure, including onboarding programs for new hires.

Process Training:

  • Designs an effective training strategy and facilitates the planning and delivery of programs and strategies.
  • Ensures all training programs align with business objectives and operational requirements.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing large-scale digital learning strategies.
  • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and platforms.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and change management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making to measure effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Management/Business
  • Experience: 15-20 years of experience in a BPO company and a minimum of 5 years of experience managing digital transformation for the training function.
