Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Manager

The incumbent will assist in planning, organizing and supervising maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance.

  • He/She will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager and be responsible for managing a team of 100 people.
  • A strong background in engineering (mechanical/electrical/instrumentation) and professional certifications like Energy Manager, Boiler Engineer, TPM Facilitator, Six Sigma are essential.
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in large dairy, food or pharma plants with expertise in milk processing, evaporators, dryers and utilities equipment.
  • Advanced maintenance practices, cost and energy saving ideas and analytical thought process are required to bring new concepts in maintenance practices and energy management.

Nature of Experience:

  • Maintenance of milk processing equipment, evaporators, dryers, pasteurisers, separators, bactofuge, vacuum pumps, DSI, high pressure pumps, blowers, fluid bed, sifter, cheddar master, cooker etc.
  • Utilities equipment like boiler and steam network, ammonia and freon based refrigeration system, compressed air and nitrogen generation system, VAM, RO and UF, sand and carbon filters, pumps, DG sets, transformers etc.
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance, electronics equipment monitoring tools and tackles.
  • Preparation and monitoring of maintenance budget, setting and improving energy standards.
  • Execution and achieving plant KPIs like productivity, losses and complaint reduction, specific energy consumption, production lines OEE improvement.

Requirements
