Job Summary
Overview:
The Placements Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire placement process, ensuring seamless delivery of services to corporate clients. This role involves managing a team of placement managers/executives, executing RFQs, policy placements, and servicing efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of end-to-end placement operations across multiple corporates, encompassing policy placement, post-placement servicing, claims handling, and employee enrolments/deletions in non-Employee Benefits policies.
- Supervision of claims scrutiny and resolution, ensuring efficient servicing of corporate clients.
- Representation of the placement team in high-level client interactions with CXOs, achieving customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Preparation of MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and clients.
- Implementation of operational excellence by setting KPIs, monitoring performance, and training team members.
Requirements
Education – Graduate/Postgraduate degree in any stream (Additional insurance qualifications are preferred).
Experience – At least 8–12 years in insurance placement/servicing, including 3–5 years in a team handling or leadership role.
Strong product knowledge across Property, Fire, Engineering, and other insurance products.
Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, ensuring high productivity and quality delivery.
Excellent client management skills, with experience engaging CXO-level stakeholders.
Strategic mindset, self-driven, and result-oriented, with a passion for building long-term business impact.
