Job Overview

The position of LIMS Master Data Specialist is a crucial role within our organization, responsible for maintaining global laboratory information management system (LIMS) master data including customer and/or compendial specifications for GxP and lab grade products.

This specialist will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate and up-to-date LIMS master data.

  • Maintain precise and current LIMS master data to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the integrity and quality of LIMS master data through rigorous processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments to execute and validate test cases based on quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Recommend adjustments to predetermined quality guidelines to guarantee the end product meets minimum quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field required.
  • At least one year of laboratory experience preferred.
  • LIMS Master Data experience is mandatory.
  • Fundamental knowledge of data flow requirements in LIMS systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical working knowledge of various laboratory instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel), LabVantage LIMS, and ETQ.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
