Guidepoint is a leading research enablement platform that empowers our clients to make informed decisions. We're seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team and contribute to the development of innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure seamless delivery of our services.
  • Automate test cases and develop reusable and maintainable automated scripts to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze issues related to automated and/or load testing, research, and propose solutions to enhance our testing process.
  • Provide regular software defect tracking and regression updates, and present technical reports as required.
  • Assist in planning, developing, and delivering training related to automated test tools and frameworks.
  • Review, establish, and maintain thorough documentation, templates, and process improvements to communicate technical issues to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in a QA Automation engineering role.
  • Experience with writing test scripts from scratch for manual testing.
  • Strong experience in automated testing practices and tools, including Selenium or similar tools and Web Service testing.
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), experience with a variety of testing techniques (Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM), and experience with performance/load testing.
  • Previous exposure to a ticketing system (Jira preferred).
  • Strong hands-on programming skills with JAVA programming language.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOA frameworks, processes, strategies, and approaches.
  • Experienced with CI/CD/Devops methodologies/tools and practical implementation of DevOps processes.
  • Degree in an engineering discipline (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/MIS).
