  • Perform thorough testing of RESTful APIs, multi-tiered system architectures, and various technologies including MQ, Kafka, Solace.
  • Utilize strong Core Java, SQL, and Oracle skills to design effective test cases and automate testing processes.
  • Manage test environments and data to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and support, addressing and resolving critical issues.
  • Ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes to enhance the quality and speed of delivery.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with business and technical partners.
  • Maintain a positive and adaptable attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative to solve complex technical challenges.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • 10+ years of software engineering and testing experience with a focus on automation.
  • Expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Lean FT, Selenium, Sikuli, TestNG.
  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, SQL, Oracle, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, Kafka, Solace.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to design and test large, complex enterprise architectures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in test data and environment management.
  • Experience playing roles such as Test Automation Engineer and Architect.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with the Banking/Financial domain and trading lifecycle.
  • Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with CA DevTest, Cucumber, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with various web technologies such as HTTPS, SFTP, HTML, JSP, XML, JSON, and CSS.
