Job Title: Senior Hardware Design Engineer

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging projects at the forefront of aerospace technology. We are seeking an experienced engineer to spearhead complex system design, analysis, and integration in our R&D team.

  • We require a deep technical understanding of electronics engineering with proficiency in mechanical engineering, emphasizing designing state-of-the-art solutions for challenging applications.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in housing electronic & circuit assembly necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-precision electro-mechanical systems, including defining selection criteria for key components, testing and validating them for use in different sub-systems.
  • Candidate must coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate embedded systems with mechanical systems.
  • A comprehensive testing and verification strategy is required to ensure the robustness and integrity of embedded software & mechanical systems throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Risks associated with embedded software development & mechanical systems should be identified proactively addressing issues to ensure project success.
  • Experience in designing electro-mechanical/robotic systems through the use of strong technical fundamentals essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, robotics, Aeronautical (Avionics) required.
  • Strong electro-mechanical design instincts and a thorough understanding of dynamics & control essential.
  • Hands-on expertise in electronic & circuit assembly necessary.
  • Working knowledge of parametric modelling CAD software desirable.
  • Basis knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up preferred.
