Job Title: Data Center Network Professional

Description

We are seeking a skilled Datacenter Network Engineer to join our global team. This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in Cisco Nexus technologies and the ability to design, optimize, and secure large-scale enterprise datacenter networks.

As a key technical contributor, you will be responsible for ensuring network resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiency in complex environments, while driving innovation through automation and modern datacenter practices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage advanced datacenter networking solutions built on Cisco Nexus platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot advanced Cisco datacenter technologies, including Virtual Port Channel (vPC) for high availability and load balancing, Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV) for Layer 2 extension, FabricPath for scalable and resilient Layer 2 networking.
  • Ensure continuous availability, security, and performance of datacenter network infrastructure.
  • Perform capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Leverage automation and scripting to streamline operations, reduce manual intervention, and enhance operational consistency.
  • Actively contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, and change control processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including network topology, configurations, and operational procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of vPC, OTV, and FabricPath technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Layer 2/3 networking protocols, datacenter topologies, and enterprise-class environments.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting or equivalent programming for automation and network optimization.
  • CCIE Datacenter/Enterprise certification or equivalent extensive real-world experience.

  • Familiarity with network automation/orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of network virtualization and emerging datacenter technologies.
  • Experience in client-facing or managed services roles supporting mission-critical environments.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
