The role of a Financial Strategist is to develop and implement financial plans that align with the organization's objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the general ledger account reconciliation process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Planning and monitoring monthly close activities, delivering timely financial reports to senior management.
  • Analyzing financial data, performing ratio analysis, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including GST and TDS.
  • Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), maintaining high levels of information security and control.
  • Mentoring team members, providing guidance on career development and training requirements.
  • Communicating financial results to stakeholders, including budgets and forecasts.

Required skills and experience include:

  • At least 5 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong double-entry accounting knowledge and skills.
  • Good understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
  • Knowledge of income tax, GST, statutory audit, and other relevant areas.
  • Excellent English language and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong sense of ownership, ability to meet deadlines under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Effective team player with a solution-oriented mindset, proven leadership abilities, and high integrity.

Technical qualifications include:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, VB, Power tools.
  • Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as HFM, Essbase is preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage.
