Job Overview
As a Senior EDI Integration Specialist at McCain Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of external integration services. Your mission is to craft unforgettable experiences for our customers, vendors, and logistics partners. You will adeptly negotiate with internal stakeholders, managing competing priorities while strategically building a pipeline of future work.

Key Responsibilities
  • EDI Mapping and Translation: Analyze, document, and coordinate the development and maintenance of EDI maps and translation rules to facilitate seamless communication and data exchange between trading partners.
  • Test and Deploy: Coordinate the testing and deployment of EDI Integration solutions, ensuring thorough testing procedures are followed and smooth deployment processes are executed to minimize disruptions and ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate the resolution of EDI-related issues, providing timely support to internal teams and external partners to minimize disruptions to business operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, business leads, and trading partners to identify EDI Integration requirements, prioritize integration projects, and address business needs.
  • Vendor Management: Cultivate and oversee relationships with external EDI Integration service providers, such as Opentext, Esker, and Portalink, as well as internal service providers like Informatica, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and prompt resolution of any issues that arise.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the EDI Integration system, leveraging automation, standardization, and emerging technologies to streamline processes and reduce manual intervention.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with EDI Integration operations, including data integrity, system failures, and compliance gaps, implementing contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.

Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of EDI Integration platforms, technologies, and best practices, with a preference for SAP, Opentext, Esker, Portalink, and Informatica.
  • Hands-on experience with EDIFACT, X12 EDI standards, and Transaction Sets like ORDERS, DESADV, INVRPT, and INVOIC.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and adding value to customers through EDI Integration initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering EDI Integration projects on time and within budget, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
