About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced technology professional to join our team as a Consultant focused on End User Computing.
Key Responsibilities
  • This role involves administering JAMF for MAC device management, user identity, and endpoint protection.
  • The consultant will also configure Microsoft Intune for device management and policy setup.
  • Maintenance of security compliance across the global endpoint estate using JAMF, SCCM, MECM, and Azure is crucial.
  • Vulnerabilities must be patched quickly, and compliance levels should be maintained.
  • The consultant will develop and implement best-of-breed vulnerability, security, and Evergreen upgrade processes.
  • Troubleshooting complex issues related to Windows group policy, MAC policy, and security patches is essential.
  • Addressing complex hardware, driver, and BIOS update issues with laptops is also part of this role.
  • Analyzing log files and Windows events to identify incidents and performance issues is required.
  • Managing and triaging incidents with relevant teams is vital.
  • Escalating issues to 3rd-party vendors, including Microsoft, Apple, Dell, 1E, and Devicelock is necessary.
  • Collaboration with GCC Engineering, Packaging, Senior Technical Management, Product Owners, and Project Managers for technology support across the Collaboration stack is required.
  • This role involves helping deliver service improvements without unnecessary investment in new products by working smarter, providing better tools, and utilizing existing product sets effectively.
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for macOS, Windows 10/11, and Evergreen across all EUC platforms (Laptop, PC, VDI) is a key responsibility.
  • Ensuring operational requirements align with service delivery around standards and engineering is essential.
  • This role also involves updating and maintaining technical documentation using Confluence and Jira.
  • Publishing hardware certification standards and scheduling upskilling sessions is necessary.
  • Managers product enhancements via Agile processes with Product Owners.
  • Providing end-to-end services reporting via PowerBI is required.
  • Ensuring the EUC estate meets audit requirements is vital.
Technical Requirements
  • Extensive experience with JAMF Administration on JAMF Pro/JAMF Cloud is required.
  • Microsoft Intune device management and policy configuration is also necessary.
  • Maintenance of Microsoft Autopilot and enterprise-level patching and vulnerability management is crucial.
  • Knowledge of build task sequence in SCCM is required.
  • Group Policy and Active Directory troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Advanced macOS and Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • Brower support and Microsoft Edge enterprise mode configuration are also required.
  • Troubleshooting and optimization skills in an Enterprise environment are essential.
  • Advanced understanding of Patch Management and Policy creation/implementation is necessary.
  • Experience working in a compliance-driven environment is required.
  • Office 365 knowledge is necessary.
  • The ability to deliver custom solutions to address non-standard requirements or provide additional value is essential.
  • Strong understanding/experience of remote access technologies, client troubleshooting, Pulse VPN, NetScaler, Zscaler Cloud Proxy are required.
  • Active Directory and Group Policy, Azure AD knowledge is necessary.
  • PKI infrastructure - Certificate Management and NDES experience is required.
