Accounting Expert Wanted

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable accounting professional to manage various accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Auditing & Internal Controls
    • Assist in statutory audits and tax audits under the income tax act.
    • Prepare working papers and documentation required for audits.
    • Support the implementation and monitoring of internal financial controls.
    • Prepare details for form 3cd and other tax audit-related schedules.
  • Taxation
    • File income tax returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
    • Prepare and submit gst returns (gstr-1, gstr-3b, gstr-9, etc.).
    • Handle tds computation, payment, filing, and issuance of form 16/16a.
    • Manage professional tax registrations and compliance.
  • Notice Handling
    • Draft and file responses to income tax notices (e.g., 143(1), 139(9), etc.).
    • Reply to gst notices, show cause notices, and queries from departments.
  • Registrations & Approvals
    • Manage gst registration and amendments for businesses.
    • Assist ngos and trusts in obtaining 12a & 80g registrations.
    • Support startup india registration and related compliance.
  • Compliance & Legal Updates
    • Ensure timely filings and updates under gst, tds, and income tax laws.
    • Process amendments in registrations (address change, pan updates, etc.).
    • Stay updated on statutory changes and implement them accordingly.
  • General Accounting Support
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Support in budgeting, reporting, reconciliations, and book finalization.
    • Assist in preparation of data for audits, assessments, and inspections.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of indian taxation laws: gst, income tax, tds, etc.
  • Experience in tax audits and statutory audits.
  • Proficiency in tally, ms excel, and other accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical and drafting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • b. com / m. com / mba (finance) or equivalent.
  • ca semi-qualified or ca dropout – preferred.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and audit, preferably in a ca firm or consulting environment.
