Job Title: Information Security Manager

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience tackling various hardware and software problems. They should be comfortable providing technology solutions to employees and working closely with third-party software companies to adopt new technologies and efficiently use existing ones.

This individual should have prior experience working with information technology and understand the latest technology trends to ensure the technology in place is up-to-date.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify security weaknesses in an organization's systems and networks.
  • Evaluating, rating, and performing risk assessments on assets.
  • Prioritizing vulnerabilities discovered along with remediation timelines.
  • Sending and receiving notifications to subject matter experts of vulnerabilities within the environment.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the threat landscape.
  • Providing reporting and analysis and follow-up.
  • Producing reports for management on vulnerability analysis.
  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures to prevent cyber-attacks.
  • Monitoring network traffic and identifying potential security threats.
  • Investigating security incidents and providing recommendations for remediation.
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Providing training and guidance to other security professionals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in vulnerability management.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and reporting solutions.
  • Experience with risk assessment and prioritization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • GIAC GCIH certification.
  • Experience with information security management systems (ISMS).
  • Experience with cloud security.
  • Experience in Tenable.
