Senior FIX Analyst

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior FIX Analyst to join our global FIX Connectivity team. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol, exceptional analytical and logical thinking capabilities, and strong communication and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Implementations, Development, Product Dev, and Support teams to translate bespoke business workflows into software solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with tech teams of clients/brokers and their technology vendors on a daily basis.
  • Participate in strategic projects, including rollout of new functionalities, system improvements, and regulatory changes.
Essential Skills
  • Excellent understanding of FIX protocol (version 4.2/4.4)
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, C, or Python
  • Unix/Linux-based O/S application expertise
  • Familiarity with databases and basic SQL query writing for Oracle/SQL
  • Strong understanding of the FIX certification process
  • Experience working in an electronic trading environment in a FIX onboarding or FIX Support capacity
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, VPN, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts
  • Exposure to asset classes such as Equities, Futures, Options, FX
  • Proven experience in training and mentoring junior team members
  • Previous experience with Jira for project tracking, Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to work in multiple time zones (HK/EU/US hours)
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail and ability to think outside the box
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities
Desired Skills
  • Scripting knowledge in one of the following languages: Shell or Python
  • Familiarity with Algorithmic Trading
  • Previous experience with Order Management Systems (OMS)/Electronic Market Making Systems (EMS), exchanges, or trading firms
  • Previous experience in developing tooling and processes to drive efficiencies

Education:

Engineering Graduate from any premier institution.
