Job Opportunity

The Navigation and Integrated Systems Professional serves as the primary point of contact for vessels, Fleet Superintendents, and partners regarding the maintenance and operation of navigation integrated systems. This role involves ensuring that all technical and regulatory requirements are met while working closely with partners to maintain operational condition within the designated timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with IMS and international regulations.
  • Adhere to quality, health, safety, environmental, and ethics policies.
  • Develop and propose continuous performance improvement plans for periodic review.
  • Monitor or organize surveys, health checks, and maintenance of navigation integrated systems, providing support to vessels and shore teams.
  • Collaborate with vessel Superintendents/Vessel managers to manage repairs, sourcing best solutions with key partners.
  • Support compliance with flag and class requirements related to navigation integrated systems.
  • Provide feedback and challenge repair proposals to ensure operational availability.
  • Contribute to the issuance of experience feedback and lessons learned from vessel's navigation integrated systems to improve reliability.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of radio and navigation systems onboard, discussing optimal lifecycle with expert teams.
  • Evaluate and assess partners and key vendors with segment purchasers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications engineering.

Desirable Experience

  • At least 3 years' experience in support of vessels preferred.

Special Knowledge and Skills

  • Good knowledge of integrated radio and navigation systems, OT networking, cybersecurity controls.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Fluency in English language.
