Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist to join our team. As a key player in designing and implementing network security strategies, you will work closely with a matrix team of network architects and engineers to drive the adoption of NRE practices across all network product towers globally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Goals: Submit reports in a timely manner, ensure delivery deadlines are met, promote project progress documentation, and provide input to other teams regarding projects.
  • Demonstrating and Applying Discipline Knowledge: Provide technical expertise and support, demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes, and keep up-to-date technically.
  • Delivering on the Needs of Key Stakeholders: Understand and meet stakeholder needs, develop specific goals and plans, prioritize and schedule tasks, collaborate with internal partners and stakeholders, communicate concepts clearly, generate accurate and timely results, and demonstrate business priority understanding.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 6+ years' experience with network security tools related products.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting zero trust security tools.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing policies in relevant tools.
  • Experience with one or more Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Knowledge and experience in wireshark/tcpdump/nmap analysis techniques.
  • Experience in developing, documenting, and managing requirements gathering process.
  • Field experience and knowledge of foundational data networking and IP technologies.
  • Understanding of TACACS+, RADIUS.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and user story preparations.
  • Hands-on experience with common routing and switching platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering written documents detailing network solutions and diagrams.
  • Technical knowledge in Load Balancing such as ELBs, NLBs, F5 BigIP.
