Job DescriptionThis position executes projects independently in diverse areas of technology and Patent Services, with primary focus on Patent Searching.
- Evaluating project requirements and performing patent and non-patent search using multiple paid/non-paid databases.
- Identifying high quality search results and preparing high definition reports.
- Closing any feedback received on the project.
The role also requires guiding team members on client projects.
ResponsibilitiesProject:
- Ensuring high Quality delivery and TAT compliance;
- 100% compliance to client SLAs.
People:
- Contributing to training/upskilling team members as required;
- Providing in-depth feedback and feedforward to team members on various projects, as and when required.
Operations:
- Meeting individual and project level targets;
- Ensuring timely delivery of internal & external reports.
Miscellaneous:
- Displaying effective and responsive communication;
- Participating in Learning and Development activities at various levels; supporting various BU wide initiatives (as required).
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience in Intellectual Property – Patents;
- In-depth knowledge of technical literature in the area of subject matter expertise;
- Good knowledge of various Patent Services, including Prior Art Searching, Infringement Analysis, Patent Analytics, etc.;
- Knowledge of US Patent Law (35 USC § 101, 102, 112 etc.);
- Ability to analyze complex issues and apply analytical thinking;
- High level of computer proficiency in MS Office suite of applications.
You should also possess:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent M. Tech/M.E. in wireless domain/Telecom domain or equivalent;
- A well-organized, dynamic, and action-oriented personality that meets deadlines and makes it happen;
- An ability to build and maintain relationships, and work confidently with people at all levels;
- An enthusiastic and approachable personality;
- An excellent communicator (written and verbal) with the ability to earn trust and credibility;
- An ability to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality;
- A willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions based on experience, education and understanding of project needs.
