Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Systems Developer to join our team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the backend infrastructure of our financial platform.

Your primary focus will be on building and extending backend services using TypeScript/Node.js, with a strong emphasis on transactional business logic for financial flows such as onboarding and withdrawals. You will also be responsible for designing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries, as well as integrating with third-party APIs securely using OAuth2 and JWT.

In addition to these technical responsibilities, you will work closely with our development team to improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements. This includes collaborating via GitHub and CI/CD workflows.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, ideally in financial services
  • Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.js, with productivity from day one
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns
  • PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, performance tuning, and real-world queries
  • Solid understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs
  • Able to work independently and communicate clearly
