Job Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful deployment of Treasury systems and other Treasury initiatives across the Dentsu business globally. This role requires a strong understanding of Treasury systems and processes, as well as excellent project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the deployment of Treasury systems across Dentsu APAC, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Transformation Programme to integrate Treasury systems with other applications in the target state architecture suite.
  • Work with the Treasury Programme Director and integration teams to integrate Treasury systems with Dentsu local market systems.
  • Design, implement, and embed treasury and operational finance process improvements using Treasury systems.
  • Provide system and business process support for global rollouts, including intercompany netting, cash management, cash flow forecasting, and payments.
  • Be a subject matter expert on Treasury systems, policies, and processes, as well as payment solutions.
  • Attend regular Regional Meetings with Operational Finance leadership in APAC to embed Treasury systems into the APAC OP finance strategy.
  • Update the FIT market report on the status of Treasury systems implementations in relevant FTP markets in APAC.
  • Secure and approve technical and business readiness for each market cutover in the region.
  • Validate that market requirements can be met and the solution involving Treasury systems is fit for purpose.
  • Document and mitigate Risks and Issues in the relevant logs.
  • Work with Treasury, Finance Teams, BCoE, and Global Services Team to ensure smooth delivery and handover of services.
  • Report progress and any slippages to Group Treasury leadership.
  • Suggest enhancements to process and reporting packs as part of the continuous improvement program.
  • Experience in XML payments and Treasury Management System (TMS) configuration is required.
Requirements:
  • 12-15 years of overall experience in Treasury and corporate payment solutions.
  • Educated to degree standard or equivalent, with PMP or Prince 2 certification an added advantage.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in implementing and managing Treasury Management System roll-out.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT, with particular emphasis on payments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Process-led thinking and ability to lead complex projects without daily or weekly micro-management.
  • Awareness of when to escalate issues and problems to senior management promptly.
  • Clear eye for detail and ability to resolve challenges.
  • Team player with a willingness to contribute to the team and share knowledge.
