Finance Manager Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing financial reports, conducting analysis to guide decision-making, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

This key position involves assisting in managing a company's financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, developing budgets and forecasts, conducting financial analysis, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting senior finance management by providing financial advice, monitoring performance, and managing daily accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing financial statements, analyze financial data, and present findings to senior management.
  • Accounting & Operations: Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting processes, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the development and maintenance of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations, prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits, and manage tax-related matters.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with minimum 10-15 years of experience in a similar capacity in a manufacturing setup.
  • SAP expertise is mandatory.
